Although not officially an entry in the Traveltalks series, the same production crew was used for this two-reeler, and the opening credits have the same appearance. The film visits many of the neighborhoods and landmarks on Manhattan Island and occasionally includes a history lesson. The neighborhoods include the Bowery, Chinatown, Herald Square, and Times Square.

Katnip is making life miserable for Herman's little mice cousin, so he takes them to a tropical paradise island where there are no cats, and the little 'meece' are very happy...until Katnip makes an entrance. Thanks to Herman, Katnip's exit is about as rapid as his entrance. Peace returns to Paradise Isle.

Marcus (Michael Brandon), a nice, rich, Jewish boy from New York, meets and falls in love with Jennifer (Tippy Walker), a girl from Oyster Bay, while they are both in Venice. He follows her to her home on Long Island and ultimately to the top of a high-rise on the New Jersey Palisades, where begins a romantic reminiscence in extended flashbacks, that ultimately leads to tragedy.
