Darren DeBari will co-star in the 2008 film The Secret and continue teaching Independent Filmmaking for the third year in a row for Ocean County College. In 2007 he married Kerry Bollenbach in Point Pleasant, New Jersey and contributed 55 shorts films to youtube.com. On March 30, 2007 he attended and was a panelist for the first annual Ocean County Library Student Film Festival. On May 5, 2006 he premiered his feature film The College Murders at the SoHo Art Gallery in Toms River. The College Murders also kicked off the Soho Art Gallery Film Fest on October 30,2006. DeBari has also taught acting, done voice over work, and from March to May 2006 wrote a film column for the short lived Community Connection newspaper in Brick and Point Pleasant. In 2005 he finished the novel Fear's Domination currently available on Mindbreak.net and co-starred in director Ian Keeney's psychological film Dark Fantasy. In 2004 he freelanced for Greater Media Newspapers where he sought out and interviewed veteran actor Frank Vincent. From 2000 to 2003 he did camera work for the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority at the Meadowlands Racetrack, Giants Stadium, and the Continental Airlines Arena. In 2001 he and fellow writer and best friend Greg Wilson won the Acclaim Screenplay Contest for their work The Human Equation. DeBari continues to work for Freehold Raceway where he has done camera work, simulcasting, and computer graphics the last four years.
